Rip'N'Ride Program
The Rip N Ride program is a nationally standardized grassroots program that has been designed by Waterski & Wakeboard Canada as well as Waterski and Wakeboard BC. The program has progressional steps to show each riders' progress. The KWSC is fortunate to have two trained Rip'n'Ride coaches to ensure a safe and rapid improvement in your skills. We guarantee you will ride on the water!
Our camps are held on Shumway Lake, Hwy 5A, 15min from Kamloops. We offer the camp to children aged 6-18. Parents of children under 9 need to remain at site while their children are participating. Participants should bring what they would to the beach: hats, towels, spare clothing, snacks, life jackets and wetsuits if available. Waterskiis and a limited number of wakeboards are supplied. The club also has a limited number of life jackets.
Each participant will receive dryland instruction and two sets on the water per day (four sets total per camp). On the water sets vary from 10-20min each.
Please note that participants will be required to adhere to KWSC COVID protocols including a prescreening document as well as a COVID waiver.
